New Features: Configure reports for a subset of geographies, better report embedding, & more

IP3 ASSESS is a product from the Institute for People, Place, and Possibility (IP3). Our team works closely with our core technology development partner, BonkeyBong, to build and continuously improve IP3 ASSESS, based on what we learn from current users. We regularly update you—our IP3 ASSESS users—with what’s new on the platform to help you get the most out of your access. Check out the most recently-added features below!

Select a subset of configured areas to appear in the area dropdown for reports

Now users can select a subset of geographic areas configured on IP3 ASSESS to show up in the area dropdown for reports (top right). Instead of having to include all configured areas, or only one area, select the subset of areas that are relevant to the corresponding report.

Better embed functionality for reports (dashboards)

We’ve made some updates to the way IP3 ASSESS users can embed reports to create sharable online data dashboards. Now, users can hide report titles and adjust the report background color to match any webpage, creating a seamless user experience. Discover how to make these updates in your embedded reports.

Add bullets to report text

Now, you can create a bullet list as needed when adding narrative context to your IP3 ASSESS reports.

Humane Housing: This report measures factors providing safe, stable places to live, and establishment of vibrant, diverse communities and neighborhoods safe from hazards. Indicators encompass homeownership, housing affordability, complete streets, residential segregation, and more. Housing is the biggest expense for most Americans, and humane housing reduces toxic stress, and increases the well-being of children and families.
