New Features: Duplicate reports, custom benchmarks, & more

IP3 ASSESS is a product from the Institute for People, Place, and Possibility (IP3). Our team works closely with our core technology development partner, BonkeyBong, to build and continuously improve IP3 ASSESS, based on what we learn from current users. We regularly update you—our IP3 ASSESS users—with what’s new on the platform to help you get the most out of your access. Check out the most recently-added features below!

Duplicate Reports

Instead of starting from scratch each time, duplicate any of your current reports and edit from there to share and spotlight specific measures, data visualizations, stories, images, and resources relevant to your work.

Custom (Regional) Benchmarks

Select one of your custom areas to use as a regional benchmark (along with the included state and national benchmarks.) For example, compare individual counties to your organization’s entire multi-county catchment area along with the built-in state and national benchmarks. ($)

Select a Default Geography for Shared Reports

Reports are shareable, even with those who do not have a personal log in to IP3 ASSESS. Now, instead of defaulting to the first area in your list, select a specific default geography and the shared report will automatically initially display data for that area.

Zoom in and out on the Map View

Users can explore how data vary across a geographic area by using the map view on the Indicators tab. Now, zoom out to gain more geographic context about the area for which you’re viewing data, and zoom in to explore how data vary by county or census tract within a larger area.
